Catspeak: Human talk

Crowfood: Rotting prey

Cutter: Clan term for vet

Fox-dung: an insult, more offensive than mouse-dung

Fresh-kill: recently killed prey

Gathering: Meeting at Fourtrees, held underneath the full moon, during a truce between the four Clans

Greencough: Severe chest infection; deadly to kits and elders

Greenleaf: Summer

Greenleaf Twoleg Place: Place humans (twolegs) go only during greenleaf (campground, playground, ect)

Halfbridge: Dock

Horseplace: Fields and stables near the lake where half-tamed cats live

Housefolk: Kittypet term for humans

Kittypet: Cat that lives with humans

Leaf-bare: Winter

Leaf-fall: Fall

Loner: Cat that lives peacefully on their own in one place, doesn't defend their territory

Monster: Normally referred to cars and bull-dozers

Moonhigh: Midnight; when moon is at it's highest

Mouse-brained: Not very bright

Mouse-dung: Insult; stronger than mouse-brain but, less offensive than fox-dung

Newleaf: Spring 

Nofurs: Another non-clan term for humans

One Moon: One month (half moon=2 weeks, quarter moon=1 week)

Rogue: Can be a hostile cat living outside the clans, never stays too long in one spot

Sharing Tongues: cats grooming  one's self or mate while talking about their day

Silverpelt: Milky Way

Sun-Drown-Place: Sea to the west, where the sun sets

Sunhigh: Noon

Thunderpath: Road

Tree-eater: Bulldozer

Twoleg Nest: House

Twolegplace: Town

Twolegs: Clan term for humans

Upwalkers: Non-clan term for humans

Whitecough: Mild chest infection; can progress to greencough if not treated promptly

Yellowcough: severe illness; causes delirium
